Waiparuru Hall – University of Auckland
Waiparuru Hall is the University of Auckland’s latest student accommodation facility, home to 786 residents and the first residence to offer a new catering style where multiple food serving stations cater breakfast, lunch and dinner to a range of diets and a variety of food from different cuisines.
Students can also enjoy ‘my kitchen’ a generous communal self serve kitchen facility where they can prepare their own meals.
Based on an American University theme and working in conjunction with Auckland University, Wildfire designed and installed the large production kitchen including Halton extraction hoods, Rational Combi ovens, Moffat cooking equipment, Starline dishwashing and Cyberchill refrigeration.
Together with Future Products Group, we designed, built and installed the front of house servery and island style student self-help areas to enhance the flow and efficiency for service.
Waiparuru Hall is now Auckland University students preferred accommodation due to the impressive food offering.
